Varanam Aayiram...

...velangaama poirum.

Did somebody tell Gautam menon that this should be his last tamil movie for him to exercise all his ideas?!

Epitome of digression!

  5. JP,
Good. Wasn't the digression in the movie blatant? I felt the movie was a drag after a point.

    Nandini,
    Lol, adhaan venum :)

  7. well well.. looks like gautams got another let-down fan :)..

probly u wished for something more and different (like action) wen u went to see the movie .. luckily i was forewarned that action was not something to expect from the movie.. or a good movie was nothing to expect from filmmakers in these bad times anyway :)

  10. arun.. ya me too felt the same...
the songs are rocking.. the picturisation rocks...he has got the best of the tamil actors of present genre....whatelse he required..a good script like kaakha kaakha...
Unfortunately i felt the movie didn't or was not enough in presenting the father-son bond(i felt it is best in thavamai thavamirnthu.. watched it thrice in theater) ...rather it was three phases for surya's(son) life....
BUT SURYA ROCKS in VAARANAM 1000...
You know that i am ardent fan of rajni and vijay but still was amazed by surya in this...One small expectation now from surya is that he should not take up doing old-aged characters... it doesn't suit his physics, chemistry(with heroine..here simran) or biology :)
