Watching Tennis is experiencing heaven on earth. Just like how kaapi is the only known elixir for humans. I wake up in the middle of the night or be up all night, just to watch some skillful back-hand returns or adept half-volleys or aesthetic aces. Tennis is the only sport which never leaves me bored. Thank God, I don't get to see this rat fight IPL. Roland Garros enthuses.
One wouldn't mind to indulge oneself in tennis 24x7, even if it means half the current remuneration and a career cul de sac!

Apparently, they're planning to start an ITL, Indian tennis league, it seems :-) fun that must be..

"Just like how kaapi is the only known elixir for humans"
Ha Ha totally agree :-)
And don't belittle IPL dude!
Nicer outfits in Tennis? :P
yeahhh i second busywriter: sania's b@@*&, sharapova's legs, kournikova's hot bod???
heeeeee.. on teh other hand, yehhhh, i agree with ya- tennis could keep ya on ya feet n spellbound, much more than any other game, where ya could enjoy teh game even with diluted attention..
but the ipl is a hooker ma!- it really is- ya need to be in india, watching those matches to feel that real kaapi elixir flow through ya veins!!!
:):):)
a career cul de sac???- does a career in consulting do this to people??;)
Rat fight IPL? I like tennis and I love cricket! Whts wrong with IPL? I think ppl are damn stomach-burning over the money there!
I pick tennis as the sport where you individually win yourself the laurels and the prizes... worth every bit
Yeah man..what's with this hostility toward IPL? That too.. calling it RAT FIGHT? Oye oye! The only sport that I can stand to watch is cricket!!
Say..you like women's tennis or men's tennis better?!?! It's not a trick question *hint*!
Gayatri,
I left a similar comment somewhere else on my hope about ITL. How come we both think alike?
Brood Mode,
I shall form a Kabali Kaapi Club and there would be unlimited kaapi all evening every friday. Do join. And about IPL, I think it does not deserve any more attention than a 3 hr movie.
Busy-writer,
I watch Men's tennis too. No, no am not gay.
Rantravereflect,
Tennis playing women are attractive. No doubt. Maria is my fav. But the 'love for tennis' I mentioned in this post is absolutely for the game. And my thought-processs : IPL spoils cricket. All hype wonly.
Prashanth,
Stomach-burning?? beleive me, thats one of the funniest things anybody has told me in the recent times! Do you think I care for the money those young cricketers make or dont make? IPL is a good business idea aimed at entertainment. More like a flick. Not aimed at the game at all. Stomach-burning!! Funny. Seriously.
Absconding,
Hostility is for IPL and not for cricket. And I like men's tennis. For the sheer agility.
@arun
I somehow don't like any guy-tennis-player. And, no I'm not lesbian either.
Its rare to find an Indian who picks tennis over cricket! Great minds definitely think alike :D
Tennis, cricket and Kaapi...Perfect :D
P.S: Total crap i said up there, vera ena solardine terila :D
"IPL is a good business idea aimed at entertainment", "IPL spoils cricket" .. hmmm .. thats partly true, they make a lot of money out of it. But dude pls do remember that the other main motive of this IPL & the T20 format is to promote cricket among countries such as US,China, etc .. just equate IPL to EPL(English premier leaue) and you would foresee the benefits .. soon you would see a APL(American Premier league) where celebrities such as Bradpitt,Justin would run a franchise :-))
